Independent Oil & Gas exploration and production company operating in the Kurdistan region of Iraq has created a new post for an on site Finance Manager owing to rapid growth and expansion of their main asset project. An exciting area of the world, the company is entering in to a new phase of growth and development and as such requires a finance leader to guide them through.
The newly appointed Finance Manager will be responsible for leading the day to day finance operations on site, ensuring group policies (IFRS), processes and controls are implemented, as well as developing & training the current in-country finance team, which is growing alongside the company.
Significant experience in an upstream energy, mining or related industry is required and so too an internationally recognised finance qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA or equivalent). With head office in London you will be expected to have a demonstrable track record of leading teams, interacting and influencing local personnel and being a true business partner to an exec function.
