Our client is a world leader in energy services working in more than 50 countries! They are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team based near Mexborough. You will ideally be CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified, a finalist, or qualified by expeirence.


The role will look fantastic on the CV and offer a great mix between responsibilitiy and support.



Accounting Duties:

• Developing and maintaining analysis for management and audit purposes
• Supporting the requirements for the quarterly, interim, and annual statutory audits and related group requests, being a point of contact for audit-related matters
• Supporting systems and procedures to facilitate efficient collection of data required for audit and group requests
• Keeping up to date with IFRS requirements and support implementation within the Division, including support on technical accounting papers

Reporting Duties:

• Production of meaningful and timely executive level analysis of monthly business performance
• Facilitation of month-end reporting of Flash results, coordinating the various finance business partners across UK divisions
• Supporting the P&C Division's annual budgeting and forecasting processes across P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow forecasting
• Sourcing data from multiple systems and data sources and running processes which have company-wide impact
• Understanding and challenging current business practice, identifying and implementing initiatives to improve and develop processes and deliver efficiencies

Requirements:

• Have a mixed skill set of Technical Accounting, Business Partnering and Controlling
• Be able to prioritise multiple deliverables and manage multiple stakeholder requirements
• Own strong organisational and presentational skills
• Have excellent time management skills, working to tight deadlines in a complex and changing environment
• Experience in Financial Accounting
• CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified, finalist, or QBE.
