Fraud and Payments Manager
This is a great opportunity for an experienced individual in Fraud and Payments to investigate and monitor upcoming and existing fraud threats and with exposure to a leading Retailer in Ireland/UK.

Duties will include:

  • Manage the outsourced Fraud Team ensuring constant improvement of process and procedures, objective setting, and performance management.
  • Optimisation of fraud and credit vetting rules with continuous performance management through effective monitoring of KPI metrics.
  • Desire for continuous learning of industry best practices and fraud trends associated with the Telecommunication Industry e.g. Chargeback processes, usage fraud, subscription fraud, roaming fraud, IRSF, etc.
  • Support all sales channels (retail, online, telesales) by working closely to reach targets without increasing risk and continue to upskill in the areas of fraud and credit management.
  • Performance setting and management of our online and retail payments. This includes future payments developments, KPI setting and monitoring, and reporting to senior stakeholders monthly or where required.
  • Partner with the business to drive Customer Experience focused improvements in the business by supporting and liaising on new and upcoming projects that will deliver on its core objectives.
  • Liaise with external agencies e.g. law enforcement, other operators, and industry bodies.

    Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
  • 5+ years of fraud experience.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience.
  • Working knowledge of the telecommunications industry.
  • Knowledge of online payments operations.
  • Experience with rules engine-based tools for fraud monitoring.
  • Project management and process improvement experience.
  • Experience working with multiple contracted third parties.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and organise this data for effective communication of trends and risks to the business.
  • An excellent communicator and influencer of positive change for the customer.
