Fund Accountant (Private Equity/VC) - Contract role

A very successful private equity style investment firm is looking for a fund accountant to join them on a contract basis to assist them through the year end period and provide cover someone on sabbatical.

Pay Rate would likely be £450 - £550 per day via umbrella firm but there are also a lot of perks including free lunch options. They have a hybrid working culture.

Contract duration 3-5 months

The role

The role would support the fund finance function with activities such as draw downs and distributions, liquidity management, investor reporting, oversight of TPAs, financial reporting, providing reconciliations to working papers and producing information for the auditors.

Our client is looking for someone of the following profile:

- Must be a qualified accountant (ACA, CPA, ACCA, ACMA)

- Must have experience of close ended private equity funds

- Have at least 3+ years of fund accounting experience for private equity/venture capital style funds

- Strong financial reporting skills
