Fund Controller - Manager - Real Estate - 12 Month Contract

We are pleased to be partnering with a well-established, real estate asset management firm who are seeking a Fund Controller on a contract basis.

The salary for this role is £70,000 + strong pension + benefits & hybrid working.

This is a management role where you will be responsible for the activities of 4 junior fund accountants, but will also require hands on fund accounting for a large portfolio of open ended real estate funds.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and developing 4 fund accountants
  • Financial Control of accounting data relating to real estate/property investments
  • Production of the NAVs
  • Prepare investor reporting packs
  • Assisting fund financial statements
  • Liaising with investment teams, tax, legal and 3rd parties including auditors

Selection Criteria:

  • You must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACA, CIMA, CPA etc.)
  • Have experience in a fund accounting position
  • Real Estate sector experience
  • Strong communicator
