Our client is looking to add a Fund Controller to their expanding Private Debt fund finance team on a contract basis.
This is a hybrid working role and the day rate would be in the range £450-500 per day via umbrella depending on experience.
The fund finance and operations team sit and work very closely with the front office/transaction team and are an integral part of the business. The firm run a number of Credit investment strategies and the Fund Controller will have responsibility for oversight of the flagship direct lending closed ended Lux based fund.
This could suit someone who has worked either in fund administration or directly for an investment fund for 2 or more years and who can demonstrate solid experience of working with private debt funds.
You will have responsibility for:
- Oversight of Fund Administrators (TPA)
- Quarterly fund reporting and investor queries
- Fund liquidity management, drawdowns and distributions
- Review fund valuations
- Review statutory accounts in relation to the LPA's
- Monthly reporting packs
- Checking compliance with the fund mandates and legal docs
- System & process developments
To be considered for this role you must be:
- Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CPA)
- Have previously working knowledge of Credit / Debt funds
- Strong understanding of Closed Ended Lux based fund structures
- Have 2+ years of fund accounting / fund controlling experience in the private credit/private equity sector
- A strong communicator and self-starter
