This global alternative investment manager is looking for a Fund Accountant/Fund Controller with private equity/debt fund finance experience to join their private debt strategy finance team.
Based in Mayfair, this role is for a Fund Accountant or Fund Controller who enjoys analytical work, not just fund accounting. The company is one of the world's leading investment houses and their private debt business is certainly best in class. The firm has offices in New York and London and is one of the biggest names in the debt space. You will be joining an incredibly beast that boasts one of the most impressive reputations within the industry. Although you would classify them as a big corporate, the London office is ran with an entrepreneurial and dynamic culture; no egos are allowed and everyone is encouraged to be ambitious.
The day to day responsibilities of the role are broad, diverse and split across three areas:
- Financial Analysis
- Fund Reporting
- Third party management
The role stands out from other Fund Controller positions because of the analytical work invovled with the Investment, Investor Relations and Portfolio Management teams. It's perfectly suited to a fund finance professional who has strong excel/modelling skills whilst can also review the fund reports from administrators. It's an incredibly commercial fund finance position.
Hard work is rewarded in this business and their success is reflected in their compensation packages. If you are a qualified accountant with between 3 and 8 years post qualified experience of fund accounting within a credit/debt fund manager but want that step up and challenge, then please do not hesitate to get in touch by applying.
