Marks Sattin Executive Search is working with a listed infrastructure services business. With ambitious plan for rapid growth mainly through M&A. The business is now searching for a Group Financial Controller to join and support the CFO, CEO and Executive team during this period of rapid organic and Inorganic growth via an effective buy and build strategy

This is a dynamic role where the Group Financial Controller will be responsible for assembling a finance team from scratch to support the company's growth goals. This includes bringing finance operations in-house across the Group. Moreover, it involves conducting thorough due diligence and streamlining the integration process for newly acquired companies, integrating process Systems and controls.

Additionally, as Group Financial Controller you will oversee system reviews and management to ensure they align with the Group's scale and working with the CFO to chart long-term strategies. Furthermore, you will play a leading role in continuously enhancing the control environment and risk management framework across the Group and its subsidiaries.

This is a unique opportunity for someone to join a budding business, taking a pivotal role in building the finance team and establishing financial systems and processes from the ground up, all while being part of its growth journey.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA)
• Experience within a group Accounting/Financial Controller role in a commercial Business or an individual who making a late move out of practice and looking to join a fast growing/ Highly acquisitive business
• Knowledge of acquisitions, consolidations and integration processes.
• Sound understanding of systems, with preference for prior experience in system implementation.
• Thrives in cross-functional collaboration and excels in fast-paced environments.
• Possesses robust analytical abilities and effective communication skills.
• Willing and able to Travel to acquisition sites (daily travel)
