A nation leading food manufacturing business in Malton are looking for a Group management accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

The purpose of this role is to drive accurate monthly reporting across Central business functions through cost analysis and business partnering, supporting the wider business planning, reporting and decision-making processes.

This role is best suited to someone with in depth management accounting knowledge who wants to get involved with business partnering and process improvement.

Reporting directly into the Group accounting Manager this role involves:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts for central functions; including, but not limited to, recharges, prepayments and accruals.
  • Reviewing monthly performance analytics and reports.
  • Business partnering with central function teams to understand, comment on and report financial performance accurately.
  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support accounting and reporting teams with financial information.
  • Support/lead one-off and recurring projects and analysis as required by the business.
  • Continuously develop and improve Management Information and the methods used to prepare it to drive efficiencies and better decision making.

Advanced Excel skills are essential for this role.

This role will come with study support for ACCA/CIMA.

Salary: up to £43,000
