Marks Sattin are currently working with a small, profitable and growing manufacturing business that is part of a larger international group with their search for a Group Management Accountant. This role is based in Sheffield and is responsible for the preparation and analysis of the management accounts pack for two of the businesses within the UK group.

You will get the opportunity to work for a brilliant Finance Director who gets involved with the team, is incredibly supportive and provides opportunity for personal growth and development. The FD is looking for somebody who he can develop and mould into becoming his successor.

Responsibilities;

• Production of Monthly Management accounts, including reconciliations & project reporting for the group
• Manage the cash position of the group
• Production of monthly group reports
• Production of cashflow forecasts for the group companies
• Manage the payroll's for the group companies
• Quarterly VAT, EC sales returns & government returns
• Liaising with external bodies (ie banks, auditors)
• Support the HR aspects of the group

Skills;

• Be either qualified or qualified by experience with demonstrable experience in preparing management accounts for a manufacturing/engineering business
• Be an excellent communicator and someone who enjoys getting out in operations
• Have experience in costings and long term project margin analysis
