Start your job searchOn behalf of a leading FTSE-listed organisation headquartered in London, we are seeking an accomplished finance professional to lead the Group Reporting function. This is a senior and highly visible opportunity, offering the chance to take ownership of the group's consolidation, external reporting and statutory accounting.
Working closely with senior finance leadership and key internal stakeholders, the successful candidate will play a central role in delivering high-quality financial outputs, driving process improvements, and contributing to strategic decision-making. The position offers exposure to complex transactions, technical accounting matters and board-level reporting, making it ideally suited to individuals seeking their next leadership step in a dynamic, high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the Group Reporting team
- Oversee group consolidation and external reporting (interim and year-end)
- Manage statutory account preparation and compliance
- Serve as the key point of contact for external auditors
- Partner with internal teams on restructuring and corporate activity
- Resolve technical accounting issues and produce supporting papers
- Deliver quarterly management reporting and key metrics to senior stakeholders
- Contribute to ad-hoc analysis and strategic projects
Candidate Profile:
- ACA/ICAEW qualified (or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and consolidation expertise
- Proven people management and leadership skills
- Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management ability
- Commercially aware and adept at balancing detail with strategic thinking
