Group Reporting Accountant (temp to perm)

Day Rate: £485 - £585 per day via umbrella

We're hiring a Group Reporting Accountant to join a fast-growing wealth management group initially on a 6-month contract, with a strong possibility of going permanent afterwards.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a high-growth, acquisitive business transforming the wealth management space.

The successful candidate must be immediately available or under a short notice period. You must also be a qualified accountant (2-5 years PQE) and qualified through an audit background.

You must have Group Reporting, technical accounting experience in Financial Services

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse consolidated group accounts (UK GAAP/IFRS)
• Maintain and enforce group-wide accounting policies
• Handle technical accounting areas (e.g. M&A, leases, share-based payments)
• Manage external audits and year-end reporting
• Support M&A integrations, including fair value and goodwill calculations
• Oversee statutory compliance and ensure consistency across subsidiaries
• Drive process improvements across financial reporting

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (2-5 years PQE) - qualified through an audit background.
• Immediately available to start or on a short notice (2 weeks or less).
• Strong technical knowledge: audit background.
• Experience in complex, multi-entity and multi-currency groups
• Skilled in NetSuite or IRIS (desirable)
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and organisational skills
