Marks Sattin are delighted to be working with an industry leading business based in Leeds to recruit a Group Tax Manager.

This is an exciting time to join a dynamic, fast paced business in a newly created position that will play a pivotal role in managing the Groups tax affairs.

The role will have a focus on VAT and a successful background in indirect tax at a Big 4 or Top 10 accountancy firm, or Financial Services business, is essential. The successful candidate will ideally be qualified ACA/ACCA/CTA and have solid understanding of partial exemption regulations.

In addition to VAT compliance, the role will offer exposure to other areas such as corporation tax, internal controls and transformation. No previous experience is required in these areas and there will be support provided by external and advisors and internal stakeholders to assist with professional development.

In order to be successful, you will be a confident self starter with outstanding interpersonal skills to enable you to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
