Role - Head of Financial Accounts Location - Blackburn Salary - Between £75,000 and £85,000 + benefits.

Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a global business in their search for a Head of Financial Accounts to work out of their offices based in Blackburn city centre.

The successful candidate will need to be ACA or ACCA qualified and have extremely strong technical accounting skills. The capability to build strong working relationships throughout a business is crucial and any exposure to working within international businesses would be a distinct advantage. Excellent Excel skills are a must and any exposure to an ERP system would be preferable although not essential. Key duties for the Head of Financial Accounts role will involve the following:

  • Lead on IFRS reporting
  • Develop and maintain group accounting policies
  • Management of the weekly, quarterly and yearly balance sheet process
  • Lead on all technical matters with the group audit
  • Look to rollout technical training to the wider team
  • Look to update financial policies and keep abreast of financial regulations
  • Assist with specific improvement projects
  • Manage a small finance team

Salary for the role is anywhere between £75,000 and £85,000 + benefits
