Salary DOE

We're supporting a large, complex organisation in the appointment of an experienced Interim Head of FP&A to lead a high-performing finance function through a period of transformation and strategic delivery.

This is a senior leadership role, partnering closely with executive stakeholders to drive financial performance, improve reporting capabilities and support long-term planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring high-quality, insight-driven outputs that support strategic objectives
  • Oversee the production of timely and accurate management reporting, including performance analysis, risk assessment and forward-looking forecasts
  • Develop and enhance financial modelling to evaluate strategic initiatives, investment decisions and long-term plans
  • Drive continuous improvement across reporting processes, systems and controls to increase efficiency and value-add
  • Manage and develop a team across finance business partnering, reporting and analysis functions
  • Provide clear, concise financial insight and recommendations to senior leadership to support decision-making
  • Ensure delivery of external and regulatory reporting requirements where applicable

About You

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
  • Proven experience operating in a senior FP&A or financial leadership capacity within a large, complex organisation
  • Strong track record of leading budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes
  • Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insight
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing high-performing finance teams
  • Confident communicator, with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
  • Experience of driving process improvement and enhancing reporting frameworks
