Salary up to £110,000 + bonus and benefits. You would be joining an established UK insurer. They are seeking someone to lead the transition to the new IFRS17 accounting standards. You will be the pivotal element in the process mapping and controls creation of the new accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and lead the implementation of IFRS 17 for multiple entities
  • Ensuring IFRS and local GAAP accounting standards are appropriately applied
  • Preparation of timetables related to IFRS 17 reporting
  • Analysis and commentary to support regular or ad hoc queries related to IFRS 17 reporting
  • Help with the implementation of financial reporting controls and process automation

Experience required:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Insurance industry background is essential
  • IFRS 17 experience desired
  • Good knowledge of UK GAAP and Solvency II
