Junior Accountant | Greater Manchester | 6 - 12 Month Contract | Immediate Start | £115pd

We are actively seeking a Junior Accountant for a growing company in Manchester.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful business on an interim basis..

Responsibilities:

• Intercompany transactions and reporting.

• Timely settlement of intercompany balances.

• Support the Management Accountant on any monthly ad hoc journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Ad hoc work outside of month end to help improve or reduce time taken to perform tasks and resolve issues.

• Support on external reporting, including VAT returns.

• Ownership of employee expenses process.

• Ad-hoc financial analysis as required by the Reporting Manager.

Requirements:

• A finance related degree

• Practical accounts experience

• Good Excel skills (including v lookups)

• Experience of using accounting software
