Legal Cashier - London

Seeking a Legal Cashier for a 6 month fixed term contract for a law firm in Central London. They are a professional services group, which includes two of the UK's pioneering law firms. Ideally seeking someone with legal experience with an understanding in SRA (Solicitors Regulation Authority) rules. In this position they are seeking a bit of an all-rounder seeking more experience that has prior exposure to debt chasing and credit control.

Responsibilities:

• Full participation in the day to day activities of the Cashiers team
• Helping to ensure fee earners and other support staff comply with the firm's internal cashiering regulations and SAR
• Perform month and year end procedures and reconciliations
• Dealing with internal and external queries
• Various ad hoc cashiering queries as allocated by Cashier Supervisor.
• Liaising with auditors and banks
• Covering for other Cashiers as required
• Supporting the regional offices as and when required
• Supporting other Finance team members in times of need.
