Marks Sattin are working in partnership with a successful and growing business within the energy and renewables sector in East Oxfordshire to recruit a Management Accountant on a permanent basis. The Management Accountant position will be paying between £43,000 and £50,000 per annum plus bonus, 25 days holiday, private medical and plenty more!

The Management Accountant Role

This role would suit somebody with experience around month end and production of accounts within a relatively fast paced and high-volume environment, couple this with an understanding or oversight of transactional finance and you will be set up for success!

Key responsibilities include:

• Production of monthly management accounts including P&L review/analysis
• Balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and journal entries
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
• Mentor, guide and develop the transactional finance team
• Work closely with the FP&A team to ensure they have accurate data to work from

Key Skills and Experience

• Actively studying or completed ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
• Intermediate Excel (Pivot tables, V-lookups, SUMIFS etc.)
• Ability to manipulate data through Excel
• Prior exposure to management/mentoring advantageous
