A large, fast paced consumer focused business in Cleckheaton are looking for a Management accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

This role is best suited to someone in the final stages of their ACCA/CIMA, newly qualified or qualified by experience.

In this role you will be responsible for managing two junior members of staff and overseeing the transactional functions

Duties:

• Ensure all appropriate costs have been identified and allocated to the correct GL accounts, and providing cost variance analysis allowing the Senior Management Team to evaluate the performance of the site.
• Prepare and run payment runs
• Manage and prepare all weekly and period factory accounting.
• Third party inventory reconciliation, valuation and revaluation across multiple sites.
• Reconciliation of logistics, losses and disposals.
• Review and analysis of purchase price variances against forecast and budget.
• Critical review of all trends and variances.
• Business partnering with operational and functional managers, preparation and presentation of full weekly P&L review.
• Ongoing improvement of accounting processes, analysis and reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of weekly payroll, resolving any issues that occur. Track all errors in Moorepay and HR output back to source and work with other parties to ensure root cause analysis means the error will not re-occur.
• Prepare and submit allocated Balance sheet GL accounts to a strict timetable in an agreed standard format.
• Complete ad-hoc information and processing requests.
