We are actively seeking a Management Accountant for a well established company in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

The main duties include:

• Monthly reporting of P&L results with variance analysis and commentary
• Maintaining & updating the standard cost model for various plants within the business
• Maintain costs for the purposes of stock valuation and pricing
• Balance sheet reviews / analysis
• Budgeting / forecasting
• Monthly stock take reconciliations with gain / loss reviews.
• Assisting with the year-end financial audit
• Preparing analysis for management as & when requested.

Our client is looking for a candidate who:

• Has experience of assisting with management accounts, including variance analysis experience
• Is currently studying CIMA or ACCA
• Has good Excel skills
• Has the desire to progress within finance
