An SME manufacturing company based in Scunthorpe are looking to recruit a qualified Management Accountant to join their finance team.

Working closely with the Financial Controller to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the department and the preparation of key financial information in a timely, accurate and concise manner.

• Manage the transactional team and provide leadership to ensure continuous improvement
• Weekly "flash" reporting
• Assist in preparation of annual budgets
• Month end reporting (all businesses) inc commentary
• Treasury management
• Cashflow forecasting
• Including preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations
• Supervise purchase ledger function
• Manage supplier payments including ad hoc requests and foreign supplier payments
• Supervise sales ledger function
• Work closely with wider business to ensure robust internal controls across the business
• Drive system and process improvements
• Support operations with regular stock checks and bi annual full stock takes at all locations
• Ensure compliance of legal and statutory requirements in a timely manner
• Maintain external relationships including HMRC and accountant / auditor
• Any other ad hoc support

Successful candidate will be qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and have previous experience in producing monthly management accounts and stock accounting.
