Management Consultant - Asset & Investment Management

As the Asset and Funds Management landscape in Dublin continues to develop positively post Brexit the influx of global asset managers continues to grow.

Our client is a firm that has capitalised on this over the past number of years from a Management Consulting perspective and continues to see significant growth.

They are now keen to secure the services of an experienced Fund/Asset Management professional to join their growing operation here in Dublin.

The role in General terms…..

• Consult to and advise fund promoters and global asset managers on a wide variety of compliance, operational and governance issues relevant to the establishment and operation of investment funds and vehicles across all of the leading offshore centres globally.
• Acting as a consultant to various investment funds utilising your strong technical product knowledge allowing them to navigate correctly the global regulatory frameworks.
• Advise and assist funds in meeting the substance requirements of both UCITS and AIFMD.
• Representing the firm to clients, legal advisors, audit firms, administrators and custodians and ensuring you understand the commercial aspect and nature of those relationships.
• Utilise your project management skills to ensure stakeholders are kept abreast of key issue resolutions and work through complex product and technical funds problems.
• Develop a strong network internally to add value to the collegiate nature of the business.

What is required…?

This opportunity will resonate with and suit a qualified professional, ACA, ACCA, CFA, CAIA or legal equivalent with at least 4/5 years' experience within a Funds Services, Professional Services or Asset Management context.

You will have gained a solid background in Risk & Regulatory understanding across the Funds landscape coming from a Hedge, Mutual, ETF or Private Equity background with exposure to UCITS and or AIFMD seen as a distinct advantage.
