The Role: Middle Office Associate - Private Equity Investment Manager

The Location: City of London

The Client: Global Leaders in PE Investment Management

As one of the leaders in the industry onshores their middle office operations in order to further satisfy their clients expectations, we have been presented with a unique opportunity to join a newly created team within a exceptionally established company.

Opportunity to join a global team focused on the investment operations of their Fixed Income and Equity products. This role is responsible for the full trade lifecycle for said products, with a necessity to have a strong background on the settlements piece.

This will grow to become of the leading teams within the company - become part of the infrastructure from the initial stages ensuring daily access with the portfolio managers and expedited career growth.



Responsibilities include:

  • Key member of full trade lifecycle team for Equities and Public Fixed Income with a particular focus on settlements
  • Work closely with front office and business partners to provide daily operational support
  • Assist Manager of Transaction Management with any Regulatory Change projects impacting Public Fixed Income products and Equities e.g. Shorten Settlement Cycle initiative
  • Develop strong client relationships and partner with front office and IT to realize the full potential of operational workflows

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Several years experience within Investment Operations/ Middle Office Settlements
  • Strong understanding of various financial products particularly equities and fixed income is required
  • Derrevatives experience is desired
  • Understanding of the lifecycle of the trade from execution to settlement
  • Knowledge of Order Management Systems, in particular Aladdin (desirable)
