This role can be worked hybrid from either Leeds or Sheffield.
As an advocate of the service centre model for Purchase to Pay with all key stakeholder groups, you will lead on all Purchase to Pay service improvement and transformation initiatives including the implementation of new technologies and automation.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviewing and approving all Purchase to Pay process changes, ensuring that all changes are tested, trained and communicated effectively.
- Implementing and maintaining a Purchase to Pay governance and control framework to monitor, assure and improve process quality, effectiveness and compliance.
- Establishing effective working relationships with the GSC Purchase to Pay team to improve controls and process effectiveness.
- Working with the service centre Purchase to Pay teams to improve team capability and efficiency that will support further migration and transition of local services into the centre.
- Working with international finance teams to ensure international Purchase to Pay delivery is consistent and to facilitate further service migrations to the GSC.
- Reviewing and approving all changes to the Concur contract through the agreed contract change control mechanism
- Working closely with the Concur Invoice and Expenses projects to ensure that new deployments are delivered appropriately. Providing Finance Service Delivery sign off for all new deployments.
- Acting as Purchase to Pay lead on all firmwide projects that impact Purchase to Pay processes.
- Developing and delivering Purchase to Pay business training and awareness programmes to improve end user understanding of the end-to-end Purchase to Pay process.
- Providing operational input to the project for next generation practice management system when appropriate.
ABOUT YOU
- Experience of transitioning services into shared service centres.
- Detailed understanding of International Purchase to Pay functions, including experience of complex or unusual transactions.
- Understanding of process management and improvement methodologies.
- Experience of delivering projects and service improvement initiatives.
- Strong coaching and development skills and the ability to lead a virtual team successfully.
- Comfortable multi-tasking and working to sometimes conflicting timescales and multiple priorities in a robust and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with the international teams.
