Payroll Assistant | Greater Manchester | Temporary Ongoing Contract | Immediate Start | 24k-25k

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team. If you have a passion for payroll processing and statutory reporting, we want to hear from you!

As a Payroll Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees. Your primary responsibilities will include processing multiple monthly payrolls, handling statutory reporting (P45, P60), and managing payroll deductions with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Process multiple monthly payrolls accurately and on time.

• Ensure compliance with all payroll laws and regulations.

• Generate and distribute P45 and P60 forms in accordance with statutory requirements.

• Handle and verify all payroll deductions, including taxes, benefits, and other deductions.

• Maintain accurate records of employee payroll data.

• Respond promptly to employee inquiries related to payroll and deductions.

• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies.

• Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll legislation and tax codes.

• Assist in year-end processes and reporting.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role for 2 or more years.

• Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel.

• Knowledge of payroll regulations and statutory reporting requirements.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

• High level of confidentiality and integrity.
