Start your job searchThis leading SME banking and payments firm is looking to hire a qualified internal auditor to work closely with the heaad of Audit on a 6 month contract.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Act as IA representative on GRC build up.
- Produce and manage necessary documents which may be required for the project.
- Work with HoA & SAM to ensure views of IA team are represented in the project.
- Sit as part of the wider business workstreams (notably 2nd Line Risk & Third Party Risk Management) to provide (limited) advisory services and to help ensure the framework is aligned across the 3LOD.
- Capture and document any offline materials which are required to demonstrate the IA methodology and approach of the future.
- This will include helping to design the format of ToR, RCM, Reporting format and recommendation follow up processes.
- Experience in the financial services sector, preferably with a focus on payments and international transactions
- Experience in building a cyclical audit plan based on risk assessments and business monitoring
- Good presentation skills, with an ability to distill opinions into impactful communications
- Ability to work to very tight deadlines, in a fluid, entrepreneurial culture
- An effective communicator with the ability to build relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders
The ideal candidate is a qualified internal audit professional with practice experience.
