Start your job searchA global fund administrator currently seek a Market Surveillance specialist to join their organisation for a 9 month Contract to focus on monitoring market activity. Superb rates-Dublin based with extensive WFH options
Experienced Market Abuse professional required, with a Surveillance background to focus on monitoring market activity on electronic trading venues and the related MTF's for instances of potential market abuse and adherence to the FX Global code.
The key responsibilities of the role are:
- Undertake the daily Market Abuse surveillance activity, clearing daily reports and alerts generated via the automated alert system
- Perform investigations and provide fast, complete, documented resolution to any trade or quote related issues
- Raise relevant internal filings to escalate issues and follow internal investigation routes.
- Ongoing assessment of surveillance controls to ensure they meet relevant regulatory and market wide standards and expectations in collaboration with Business, Surveillance and Compliance teams. Suggest new alerts and enhancement of the existing alerts and reports
- Keep abreast of all latest trends and any new regulations, leveraging off international SME support where applicable
- Conduct gap analysis, requirements gathering, analysis and documentation of business requirements and perform testing of new implementations
- Production of Management reporting
- Periodic review of policy, governance & procedure
- Meeting Agenda and minute taking
- Full system training will be given
Skills and experience
- An understanding of the Market Abuse Directive (MAD) / Market Abuse Regulation (MAR), FX Global Code & Anti-Money Laundering regulations
- Strong understanding and experience of Global FX market
- Excellent analytical skills & attention to detail
- Data analysis and spreadsheet analysis experience is essential
