Our client, a leading Global Active Fund Manager is seeking to retain the services of an experienced Senior Compliance Professional, who is available immediately on an initial 6 month plus contract basis.
This position will report directly into the CCO and will focus on delivering the below.
The position also has the distinct possibility of developing into a permanent role as well
Deliverables:
- Undertaking the PCF management functions relating to Regulatory Compliance Monitoring, in respect of a new AIFM.
- Implementing and maintaining a robust compliance framework (including investment restriction monitoring) for an active Energy Solutions Fund.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective systems and controls for compliance with applicable requirements and standards under the regulatory system.
- Responsible for identifying and assessing the compliance risks associated with the organisation's current and proposed future business activities, including new products, services and business relationships.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining written guidelines to staff on the appropriate implementation of the laws, regulation, rules and standards through appropriate policies and procedures.
- Responsible for assessing the appropriateness of internal policies, procedures and guidelines, ensure a follow-up of any identified deficiencies, make recommendations for amendments where necessary and supervise the implementation of corrective measures to mitigate the identified deficiencies.
- Responsible for monitoring compliance with internal policies, procedures and guidelines by performing periodic risk-based compliance risk assessments and testing as appropriate.
- Responsible for providing a central point of contact and co-ordination for all information on compliance-related issues (e.g. breach of regulation or procedures, conflicts of interest, investment restrictions).
- Responsible for overseeing submission of compliance reports to regulators and managing individual Investment Managers expectations.
- Responsible for liaising with relevant external bodies and regulators on compliance matters.
- Oversee and manage the performance of the Administrators.
You:
The ideal candidate will have gained at least 10 plus years Compliance expericne and will also be PCF approved. Experience within Financial Services and ideal Funds Management and or Fund Administration would be seen as a distinct advantage.
There is an excellent day rate associated with the role as well as working with a brilliant team on the ground here in Dublin with the potential of a permanent position as well and further exposure on the global aspects and workings of the business and funds.
