We are working with an exciting challenger bank that is looking for a Senior Credit Risk Strategy Manager to join the team in West Midlands. - Hybrid working on offer!

The successful candidate must have extensive Credit Risk (mixture of credit strategy, analytics, and policy) experience within Retail Banking or Lending firm as well as previous experience managing a team of risk professionals.





Examples of responsibilities to expect:

• Assess the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the bank's credit portfolio with a view to improve the book performance; ensuring the Bank operates within its Risk Appetite
• Implement and deliver the Bank's credit risk policies across the end-to-end customer lifecycle
• Assess qualitative and quantitative analysis of the credit portfolio
• Own the credit risk policy criteria framework
• Monitor trends and movements of the bank's credit portfolio
• Manage a team of credit risk analysts

Candidate Requirements:

• 5+ years of credit risk experience, with specific experience in credit risk strategy, analytics & policy
• Experience working in credit risk within a retail bank or lending firms.
• Experience leading and managing a team of risk professionals.
• Experience & strong knowledge of mortgage lending is a plus!
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to influence management and to lead and work collaboratively across teams
