Marks Sattin is currently working with a business based in Leeds who are looking for a Senior Internal Controls Analyst working in the 2^nd line of defence. Working in this crucial function in the business and you will have a key input into ensuring the reduction of financial risk with the input of robust controls.

You will be providing an independent overview on the appropriateness of the control framework as well as providing objective assurance to ensure the controls are working as expected.
In the role, you will be responsible for:

• Planning, preparation and completion of the assigned Internal Controls plan
• Monitoring management's responses and implementation of agreed remediation plans
• Working with the Head of Internal Controls, internal controls colleagues and Finance / Business Heads, to improve internal control environment.

Ideally you will be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIA) and have a sound knowledge of auditing principles and standards. You will have the ability to partner with multiple functions across the group to ensure a strong business partner relationship is achieved.
