A global market leader in commercial foreign exchange are looking for a senior management accountant to join their centralised London finance team.

They have a global presence in many countries including; Singapore, Spain, the Netherlands, Mexico, Canada and United States - with London being their most profitable entity.

They rarely hire at the senior level as they choose to grow organically and promote from within the team. However an opportunity has arisen due to growth plans of the business and they are looking for a strong management accountant with FX experience to be responsible for either the London or new Luxemburg team.

You will be responsible for collating the financial information from each entity across the group and prepare overall management and statutory accounts, as well as overseeing and reporting on group financial activity, and presenting on behalf of the CFO as and when required.

In this role you will also have 2 or 3 direct reports. The CFO has plans to change the current team structure so there is future scope to be responsible for all the teams, instead of them reporting into the CFO - so really exciting prospects for someone who is keen to push themselves forward in their career.

They are committed to the health and mental wellbeing of their employees, offering many benefits including; a yearly subscription to Nuffield gyms, free PT session each week, English and Spanish lessons, and Vitality health insurance!

Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, or Qualified by Experience
  • Strong demonstrable experience of working within a similar role within a commercial environment
  • Must have experience with FX treasury, and understand the regulatory environment in which an FX firm operates
  • Extensive knowledge of FRS102, IFRS
  • Experience in tax calculation, corporate tax and VAT
  • Not essential but would be beneficial; able to speak French or have experience working with a Luxemburg entity
