Our client works across multiple global locations within asset management consultancy. Currently seeking a qualified Senior Risk Analyst to join their team which advises asset managers on operational, governance, risk and compliance issues relevant to the establishment and ongoing management of offshore funds.

Duties will include:

  • Reviewing fund-related reports provided by Investment Managers, Administrators and Depositories
  • Monitoring external data feeds to enable performance of risk management
  • Analysis of integrity of data quality for all risk and investment reporting
  • Preparing of regulatory reports such as Annex IV
  • Conducting liquidity stress testing in accordance with each fund's policy
  • Analysing the key risk indicators of the client portfolios

The successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum of two years' experience in the finance/funds/investment management industry
  • A degree plus a professional qualification (finance / accounting / CFA charter holder or candidate)
  • An understanding of fund operations and accuracy in examining data
  • A high level of proficiency with Microsoft applications including Excel, Powerpoint, Power BI and Word is required while experience with Bloomberg, RiskMetrics or similar systems would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of computer programming languages such as VBA, SQL or Python
