Start your job searchI am recruiting an exciting new opportunity for a Modelling and Reporting Specialist to join a treasury and accounting function in Yorkshire.
The aim is to support strategic decision making and to meet regulatory and statutory reporting requirements.
There is the chance to get involved with strategy and senior stakeholder meetings, as well as company wide projects.
Responsibilities
- Deliver key aspects of the half year and full year end statutory reporting process; the monthly management reporting process; and the production of the annual Corporate Plan and quarterly forecasts, including liaison with key stakeholders
- To develop and embed the businesses stress and scenario testing operating model, including the coordination and delivery of financial-risk related stress and scenario testing
- Provide performance and strategic insights to key stakeholders in a timely manner and proactively anticipate potential issues and suggest solutions
- Provide complete, accurate and timely analysis on the company's cost base - in a drive to generate maximum benefit from expenditure we need to understand where the spends members' money
- Identify key issues, break down problems and use sound judgement to make informed decisions in a timely manner
Ideal candidate
- Cost accounting, project accounting, stress testing or modelling experience
- Ideally part qualified - ACCA, ACA, ACT, CIMA
- Strong knowledge of Financial Planning and Analysis, statutory reporting, technical accounting, stress testing and cost leadership with the desire and ability to be the subject matter expert in these areas
- 2+ years of experience in finance roles with a financial planning and analysis and reporting focus
- Must be able to start the role within 2-4 weeks

On offer is a salary of £37,000 plus bonus and benefits.
