Marks Sattin are delighted to be working with a rapidly expanding legal firm to recruit a Tax Manager to be based in either Hull or Leeds with flexibility to work from home as per their hybrid working policy.

As Tax Manager you will work as part of the finance team and be resonsible for all tax advisory matters, including:

• Income tax and corporation tax
• Payroll and benefits in kind
• VAT, stamp duty and customs and excise
• Trust tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax
• Tax investigations
• IR35
• National Minimum Wage

In order to be successful you will ideally have:

• A relevant qualification such as CTA/ACA/ACCA
• 10 years' experience specializing in tax
• A broad understanding of tax principles including private client, corporate tax, payroll, indirect taxes and tax investigations
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
