ASSIGNMENT
The role, under supervision of senior members of the team, will be responsible for contributing to the development and execution of the trading strategy (on the secondary and primary market) considering current and future requirements of the company.
MAIN JOB FUNCTION:
As an integrated member of Light Ends Product Trading team, the primary responsibility of the job holder will be assisting with the following: - Support to traders; - Reporting, researches and calculations; - Work on any "ad hoc" requests assigned by the team /line manager.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support traders in the following activities:
- Analysis of client and market data in order to help developing and executing trades.
- Data entry for each Cargo purchase and sales, Hedges, Freight and logistics costs, purchase and sales prices and additional costs related to each transaction.
- Data Entry of Derivatives transactions
- Cargo Tracking - set up, maintain and improve a "cargo tracking" excel sheet (vessels b/l, destination, ws rate.)
- Dealing with Middle Office for P&L reconciliation.
- Prepare various reports, calculations and research projects:
- Market analysis (supply and demand, global crack spreads, margins).
- Internal reports on trading activity.
- Daily update of excel sheet, reflecting the Market Structure (time spreads).
- Arb and Crack calculations.
- Track refinery turnarounds.
- The role may also require assistance with the following tasks:
- Risk management and market monitoring (learn basics).
- Dealing with Counterparties as instructed by traders.
