We are seeking an experienced Treasury Operations Manager to lead a Settlements team for a well known and respected Financial services organisation. This role involves overseeing all treasury activities, including settlement, deal management, collateral management, and cash position maintenance. This is a Long fixed term contract and we are looking for a leader that can guide a team of 6 in a busy, high volume transactional function.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the Treasury Operations team, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Coach and develop the team during a period of transformation
  • Plan and manage activity and resource requirements
  • Manage day-to-day cash management for multiple group companies, impacting funding plans and retail customers
  • Monitor and process settlement payments and trade instructions
  • Support external and internal audit requirements
  • Manage relationships with third-party suppliers
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Treasury activities, supporting projects, initiatives, and resolving complex queries

Requirements:

  • Previous experience managing a Treasury Operations team or a background in Collateral management
  • Experience in Treasury activities within the financial services sector
  • Ability to work in a time-critical environment, manage risks, and prioritize competing priorities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of industry practices, treasury systems, and services
  • Available for a contract role - May be other opportunities in the business beyond the role
