The Role: Valuations Operations Manager - Middle Office

The Firm: Leading Alternative Investment Manager

The Location: London - hybrid w/ 4 days in office typically

Leading Boutique Alternative Investment Firm hiring a Valuations Manager to sit on their middle office team focused on direct lending strategies. The successful applicant will be given autonomy to work across the business getting full exposure to the operation of the fund.

The Responsibilities:

  • Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Processes for the Direct Lending Strategy
  • Monitor and Produce Valuation Models, working closely with the Finance and Portfolio team
  • Work across how the valuation is arranged, perform waterfall calculations, work with the Deals team on structuring
  • Advise on, develop and be responsible for the implementation of the funds' valuations policies
  • Report to the Investment and Valuations Committee on specific analysis

The Requirements:

  • 4-7 Years within the middle office function of Investment Managers
  • Strong across Direct Lending Valuations
  • Good understanding of Alternative Products
  • Exceptional across financial modelling and statistical analysis
  • Python a plus but not a necessity
