Accounts Assistant / Warrington / £18K - £20K / Permanent

I am representing a very well-established company, based in Warrington. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger/Accounts Receivable Clerk to take on a familiar role, with a view to gain a full understanding of all duties within the department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process invoices on time and follow all control procedures
• To ensure suppliers are paid promptly, on time and within agreed terms
• Create and process monthly payment runs
• Adhoc BACS and same day payments
• Inputting Purchase Payments onto Sage
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Payment remittances and updating with suppliers to compare ledgers
• Mileage recharges and reconciliations
• Excel data manipulation
• Daily filling
• Sales Ledger cover

Job Skills:

• Previous experience of working in a finance team
• 1yrs + previous experience of a Purchase Ledger role
• Excel Skills - Intermediate
• Sage Experience
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
