A fast growing media production and broadcasting business based in north London is currently recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their fast pace finance team.

Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for assisting with management accounts preparation including bank reconciliations, month end journal postings and maintaining the fixed asset register. You will take full ownership of the sales and purchase ledgers including credit control as well as additional ad-hoc duties for management.

The successful candidate will have gained a minimum of 12 months experience performing duties such as invoice coding and processing, accounts payable/ receivable and expense claims. This is a great opportunity for candidates who have gained experience doing transactional duties and are looking for more management accounts exposure.

This candidate will have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well at all level across various departments as well as external stakeholders. Strong Excel skills and previous use of Sage Line 50 are advantageous. The role would suit someone studying towards an accounting qualification such as AAT/ACCA/CIMA and someone who is looking to gain varied experience.
