Project assistance

· Assist with implementation of new UK travel agent provider system and its integration with Microsoft AX Dynamics

· Assist with implementation of new Procurement system

· Document improvements to be made or system issues on the new accounting system, Microsoft AX Dynamics

· Document and implement revised UK process improvements

Cash management

• Month-end and mid-month Group cash reporting to plc
• Preparation and maintenance of intra-group loan and loan interest schedules
• Assist with preparation of month-end and mid-month bank reconciliations
• Assist the UK team with monthly cash-flow forecasting to plc

Management accounting

• Assist the UK Purchase Ledger function, processing ca 25-50 payments per week and updating exchange rates within the accounting system
• Maintenance and analysis of employee AMEX expense accounts and UK disbursements ledger
• Assist UK team with Balance Sheet reviews and analysis for senior management
• Assist UK team with P&L account reviews for senior management and budget holders
• Assist UK team with the Sales Ledger function, dealing with credit control and liaising with Fund teams

· Ownership of certain intercompany accounts, liaising with Group entities to ensure balances match periodically

· Assist the team with quarterly VAT return preparation

• Maintain Fund codes master list, expense form templates and latest Intranet Group Finance documents
• Assist UK team with any other ad-hoc management accounts queries

Financial reporting

• Assist the UK team with preparation of annual statutory UK financial statements
• Assist with data collection by liaising with the fund finance function to ensure year end external audit deliverables are met in a timely manner
• Assist with preparation of annual UK tax compliance requirements
• Assist the UK team with preparation of UK FCA filing requirements

3. Job Requirements

• Newly or part-qualified accountant with experience preferably in industry as well as strong higher education results;
• Proficient Excel skills and competence with other Microsoft Office packages;
• Good communication skills;
• Strong inter-personal skills;
• Self-starter with a proactive attitude, willingness to learn and develop their skills and knowledge. Will be able to demonstrate these qualities during interview;
• Excellent written and spoken English; and
• A team player who works for the benefit of the team as a whole.
