A temporary opportunity has arisen for a Accounts Payable Assistant with a well established investment firm. The role will suit an partly-qualifed accountant who is looking to work in an ethical and driven work enviroment. The work will entail:

• Invoicing payments using Direct Debit, Standing Order and BACS the firms bank account
• Review of internal invoices from staff and external expenses from suppliers
• Tracking of expenses
• Correct coding of supplier invoices, alongside inputing into the general ledger
• Assuring weekly invoices are paid promptly
• Daily bank reconciliations and accruals
• Month end reconciliations
• Assist in internal/external queries
• Quaterly invoices
• Helping with VAT returns
• Preperation and process of electronic payments to holding company
• Working alongside FC on month-end, quarter-end and year-end closure process.

To be considered for this role you must adhere to these minimum requirements:

• Be a part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, etc or equivlent experience)
• Have 2+ years' experience in Accounts Payable
• Available to start immediately
• Articulate and well presented

£30,000 - £33,000 PA
