Start your job searchFantastic new opportunity for an aspiring Accountant to join an industry leading firm based at Milton Park. My client are looking for an adaptable, analytical individual to join their thriving Finance team in a key Accounts Payable role.

The Role
- Reconciling all top tier supplier accounts, ensuring
- Running reports using SAP, formatting and distributing between senior management
- Daily reporting on transactions, analysing and investigating all discrepancies
- Aiding the preparation of weekly payment runs
- Process invoices for non-standard payment suppliers such as direct debits, marketing & promotional costs
- Using Excel to examine ledger, highlight errors and clear for payment
- Be vigilant of fraudulent payment requests
- Provide support to wider AP team when necessary including invoice processing and creation/amendment of vendors
- Full time, 35 hours per week
The Person
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable, small amount of experience is necessary
- Knowledge of SAP would be beneficial but full training is provided
- Excel skills at intermediate level high desirable including V-Lookups and Macros
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Sociable, outgoing nature, real team player
