An exciting opportunity has arisen with a global advertising agency in Central London on a temp to perm basis. You will be reporting in the UK Financial controller and managing a team of 6 in a fun and energetic environment. One exciting element of the role would be driving AP processes and change for people outside of the initial accounts team.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure suppliers chasing overdue payments are assisted in a timely manner
• Working closely with the Management accounts to make sure costs are coded correctly
• Making sure all processes are SOX complaint
• Inspect aged creditors report and report findings to direct line manager
• Manage and arrange a team of 6 with high volume of payments to high profile suppliers

Key skills

• Must have previous experience in an accounts payable manager role
• Previous exposure to SOX compliance
• Ability to manage a heavily workload and work under pressure
• Able to implement change and processes
• Experience of managing large teams
