Agile Project Manager - Agile Transformation

A global Professional Services company is currently seeking an Agile Project Manager for a permanent position based in London.

The key aspect of the role will be focused on delivering business transformation across the organisation through prototyping, piloting, scaling & development of user centric digital products utilising new & emerging technologies within the IT function.

The other main remit of this role will be to introduce a structured yet flexible Agile methodology and toolset into the department and act as an Agile coach and champion.

Responsibilities:

• Actively manage and deliver a portfolio of projects ranging in size, and including multi-streamed projects with significant strategic and/or commercial impact

• Actively work to continually improve the Agile Project methodology to fit the needs and requirements of delivery to the business
  
• Facilitate regular stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews & retrospectives to help detect any potential risks and impediments to project team's productivity and work to remove them, escalating where necessary
  
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to transition projects into BAU
  
• Demonstrate strong skills to communicate, influence, negotiate and deal effectively with all levels of the IT, the Business organisation and Suppliers on both a technical and non-technical level.

• Set and agree realistic individual goals in line with the project plans and demonstrate effective delegation of the delivery of projects within their portfolio

• Keep up-to-date on new approaches, techniques and tools and take account of changes and trends in technology, the market-place and in the business and propose changes to future plans accordingly.

Skills:

• Solid understanding of SDLC models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile delivery methodology (Kanban/Scrum) and an understanding of traditional project management and how to interface with them
• 
  Proven track record of successfully implementing software or web development projects using Agile methodologies including 6+ years of experience as a Project Manager managing complex projects in a high-tech development environment with multi-function teams
  
• Proven experience transforming teams from traditional waterfall software development practices to agile is essential
  
• Demonstrate a good understanding of User Experience methodology and how to integrate it into the agile software development process
  
• Demonstrate a good understanding of key new & emerging technologies and the ability to quickly learn new technology concepts
  
• A mixed background of delivering Agile projects in both start-up and enterprise environment an advantage
  
• Experience as an IT Project Manager within the professional services industry or similar an advantage
