Marks Sattin are currently looking for an Assistant Accountant for a Global retail business based in Leeds City Centre. This role will initially be a 12 month fixed term contract. Duties will include:

• UK Cash flow forecast lead, liaising with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Managing the process to maximize the repatriation of cash to Parent company
• Ownership of UK and foreign currency bank reconciliations
• Oversee payment processes to ensure they are accurate and timely
• UK and oversees month end close process
• Ownership of areas such as: Prepayments, Fixed Assets, Stock and Rebates
• Other Balance Sheet Reconciliations and resolution of issues
• Consolidation of group company results and submission
• Intercompany Reconciliations and liaising with the markets
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations and resolution of issues
• SOX Compliance including driving improvements in financial control across all areas
• Company credit card administration and expenses
• Finance projects and adhoc work
• Daily multi-currency bank reconciliations
• VAT compliance
• Assisting with the statutory audit process and production of Financial Statements
• Assist with Internal Audit and development of SOX processes
• Tax Compliance and projects
