A reputable European venture capital firm that provides financing solutions for high growth companies across Europe is currently looking for a pro-active assistant accountant to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity to join Europe's leading and largest provider of speciality finance to growth companies from early to late stage. This role is well suited to a hard working recent graduate with a strong academic record that is studying towards or keen to study towards their ACCA/CIMA qualification.

The role will include:

• Assisting with preparation of financial accounts
• Managing cashbooks and company ledgers
• Completing intercompany and bank reconciliations
• Assisting with monthly budget preparation
• Assisting with various ad-hoc tasks

Your requirements include:

• Having a strong academic record
• Having a good knowledge of excel
• Having relevant work experience in the accounting industry
• You must demonstrate an eagerness to begin studying towards ACCA/CIMA
