A fast-growing online retailer based in the heart of London is currently seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their busy finance division. The role offers a bright individual the opportunity to be part of a small close-knit team and gain exposure to a wide variety of duties.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with management accounts preparation including bank reconciliations, accruals and prepayments, weekly and monthly reporting, assisting with audit as well as taking ownership of the accounts payable process and stock reporting.

This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who has gained a minimum of 1-2 years' experience working in a finance related role. Ideally you will have strong knowledge of Excel and previous experience of QuickBooks would be advantageous. This would suit someone who has a finance or accounting related degree and is looking to study or studying towards an accounting qualification such as ACCA/CIMA.
