Marks Sattin are currently working with a York based Further Education establishment to recruit an Assistant Accountant. They are central York and are easily accessible by car or public transport.

You will:

• Be required to provide support to the more senior accountants in the team by preparing annual budgets and forecasts.
• Production of monthly management accountants.
• Provide senior members of staff with quality financial advice.
• Develop finance reporting systems.
• Training up stakeholders on budget management skills.
• Analysis of financial and non financial returns and accounts.
• Have excellent stakeholder management skills.

Person Specification:

• ACCA / CIMA / ACA Part Qualified.
• Broad accounting experience.
• Experience with computerised accounting system.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Analytical skills with an attention to detail.
