A leading hedge fund is looking an assistant to join initially on a 12 month contract, this is due to undertaking a new project.

As assistant accountant you will be responsible for the accounts payable function including troubleshooting, fixed assets, accruals and month end.

Main responsibilities will include

• Ownership of accounts payable function
• Fixed asset register
• Bank reconciliations
• Payment runs
• Assist the management accountant with the quarterly accounting
• Ownership of expenses

Requirements:

• You will be part qualified CIMA/ACCA or equivalent or finalist
• Experience using Oracle is desirable
• Working in professional services is preferable

This role is ideal for a finance assistant who wants to develop their professional qualifications and has between 3-5 years' experience in a similar role.
